Abstract
Scale and corrosion inhibitor is commonly used in the daily circulating cooling water treatment chemicals. Such as hydroxy ethylidene diphosphoric acid (HEDP) and amino trimethylene phosphoric acid (ATMP), are because its molecule functional groups, through the electrostatic force, are attracted the active sites of the surface of the forming crystals (nucleation) of metal salts. So it can inhibit the crystal growing, and keep the formation of crystals maintaining in the micro status, which means an increase solubility of the metal salts in water.
